ABSTRACT
The present study aimed to investigate neutraceutical herb Abrus precatorious (Fabaceae) used by Mushdhar tribe in Gorakhpur region. Questionnair method was adopted for documentation of folk indigenous knowledge of collected herb during survey. The interviews were carried out in local community especially Mushdhar tribe and knowledgeble persons who were the main user of medicinal plants. The neutraceutical potential uses have been recorded in this paper.
