A NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS KARSCHOMYIA (CECIDOMYIIDAE: DIPTERA) FROM INDIA

ABSTRACT
So far seven species of genus Karschomyia have been described from India. Karschomyia peculiaris is the eighth species from India. The characters of adult male gall midges are completely described. Key to species and comparison with other Indian species are also briefly described.
