ABSTRACT
Navisporus floccosus causing heart rot in tropical trees (Dalbergia sissoo, D. latifolia, Ficus bengalensis, Pongamia pinnata
and Shorea robusta) is reported from Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Odisha. Worldwide distribution of eight other species
of the genus is also discussed.
