Description of Stegorhabditis miniata sp. nov. (Nematoda: Rhabditidae) from Jammu and Kashmir (India)

ABSTRACT
A population of Stegorhabditis miniata sp. nov. is described and illustrated from Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir,
India. The new species is characterized by small body, six lips, small labial papillae, short stoma and narrow, evenly cuticularized,
cheilostom cuticularized, gymnostom with parallel walls, stegostom isoglottoid, weakly developed with a pair of setose
denticles on each plate, small spicules, separate, bursa absent, caudal papillae six pairs and tail of both sexes filiform.
