ABSTRACT
A global concern has been observed since the findings about acrylamide formation during high temperature cooking and
its presence in infant formulas causing deleterious damage to the vital organs of the body including the major organ brain.
Acrylamide is a well-known neurotoxin. It causes alterations and changes in the normal structure of hippocampus. Therefore,
there is an urgent need to discover herbal formulation that can combat the toxic effects of acrylamide. Hence, in the present
investigation Murraya koenigii is used to establish its efficacy as a neuroprotectant against acrylamide damage.
