AI Use Policy


The journal, Flora and Fauna, permits limited use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools (10%) in manuscript preparation, provided that:


1. Authorship – AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Authors bear full responsibility for all content.

2. Disclosure – Any use of AI (e.g., for language editing, image creation, data analysis) must be declared in the Methods or Acknowledgements section, specifying the tool and purpose.

3. Restrictions –

* AI must not fabricate, falsify, or manipulate data or images.

* AI-generated diagrams must be scientifically accurate and free from copyright infringement..

* Direct use of unedited AI text is discouraged; authors must review and rewrite to ensure rigor and originality.

4. Ethics – Use of AI on confidential peer review material is strictly prohibited. Misuse will be considered research misconduct.
